At Finchale Primary we are committed to providing an outstanding learning experience for all our pupils. The governors of this happy and successful school are looking to appoint a talented, hard-working and enthusiastic temporary Learning Support Assistant to join our friendly and dedicated team and to support a pupil joining our Reception class. This post will be reviewed in the autumn term.

The successful applicant will:
• have CACHE Level 3, NVQ Level 3 or an equivalent qualification in a relevant subject
• have a good understanding of children’s learning and how to support children in achieving their potential
• have an excellent knowledge of EYFS
• have a good standard of spoken and written English and Maths
• have a good understanding of Letters and Sounds
• have a caring disposition, able to support both the educational and emotional needs of pupils
• be an excellent and enthusiastic practitioner, committed to high standards
• make a valuable contribution to the work of our school
• become fully involved in all aspects of school life.
