The Governing Body wishes to appoint an Administration Assistant to join our friendly, hardworking and successful school. The successful candidate will be reliable, well-organised, have good communication skills and be able to work flexibly to meet the needs of the school.

The key duties and responsibilities for the post include:-
• Providing general clerical support including photocopying, typing, word processing, laminating and the sorting/ distribution of school mail
• Reception duties which include the greeting and delivering visitors to relevant meetings
• Answering incoming telephone calls , taking accurate messages and dealing with them appropriately
• Informing parents/carers of pupils reported ill whist on the premises
• Assist in the maintenance of computer based records using SIMS to ensure that these are all current and up to date
• Be responsible for recording, monitoring ,reconciling and reporting of dinner monies sent to school on a regular basis and prepare for banking
• Collection of money from pupils for school visits, clubs, fundraisers, uniform etc. and facilitate the banking of money received

Essential Qualifications: 5 GCSEs (A*-C grades) including English Language and maths (or equivalent).

Essential experience: Ability to organise, prioritise and deal with multiple tasks whilst meeting deadlines in a very busy office environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications ie: Word, Excel, Publisher and PowerPoint.
