Applicants are invited for a 12 month traineeship in peatland conservation with the North Pennines AONB Partnership. In exchange for comprehensive training across the range of our conservation initiatives the successful candidate will work in the AONB team to enhance their existing qualifications. This should equip them to take up a professional role in peatland conservation. This traineeship is funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund.

Candidates must meet the transport requirements of the post. The work will be based 5 days a week between offices in Stanhope and Allendale.

It is anticipated that interviews will be held in Stanhope on Tuesday 1st August 2017 and as part of the interview process there will be an aptitude test.
