An opportunity has arisen for a Business Administration Apprentice within the Strategic Traffic service for a period of two years.

The Parking & Transport Infrastructure team is responsible for parking enforcement throughout County Durham, Durham City Road User Charge & Durham City Park and Ride. It is also responsible for the management and maintenance of bus stations and Park & Ride facilities.

Apprenticeships are a great way to improve your skills and knowledge and gain qualifications through 'on the job' training.

Based within the Regeneration and Local Services group, successful applicants will join a team that supports continuous improvement and development.

You will have the opportunity to work and train in a range of areas from training and development, governance and communications to all round business support.

All apprentices are supported and guided throughout their placements by a local mentor with additional support from our service's Apprentice Co-ordinator. Successful candidates will have an individual work and training plan, and have access to our in-house NVQ provider and a range of in-house courses.

Interviews are scheduled to take place on Wednesday 9th August 2017.
