We wish to appoint a teaching assistant with experience of Key Stage 1 to join our successful and welcoming Key Stage 1 team.

The successful candidate needs to have a firm commitment to raising attainment of children in a supportive learning environment. They need to be an excellent team player, have a positive outlook and be fully supportive of the Catholic ethos of the school.

As you may be aware, there is currently an ongoing review of Teaching Assistants’ Pay and Conditions within Durham County Council. This post has been advertised in line with existing arrangements however the Terms & Conditions may be subject to change pending the outcome of this review, including a possible change in grade.

Essential Qualifications: NVQ 2 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent qualification
5 GCSEs A-C including Maths and English
