An opportunity has arisen for a Temporary Part Time Assistant Deeds and Terrier Officer to assist in the maintenance of the Council’s land ownership mapping, terrier records and deed packet system until June 2019 working Monday and Tuesdays.

The successful candidate will be expected:-

1. To ensure the Asset Service information systems are maintained and up-to-
date including the Terrier database and GIS mapping information.

2. To prepare GIS plans for land ownership enquiries, projects or reports,
acquisition sale or letting of land and premises as required, to plot and
calculate areas.

3. To undertake administrative and technical support as required.

4. To deal with enquiries concerning the Council’s land holdings from within
the Asset Service, other internal Services, Councillors and the general
public.

Applicants should hold a BTEC National or NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent relevant qualification together with a good working knowledge of office routines and practices and the updating of records.
