Do you have a lively and enthusiastic personality; a love of books; experience of using IT applications? Do you have excellent customer care skills and enjoy working with children and people of all ages?

If so, we want to hear from you as applications are invited for casual Library Assistant vacancies based in various locations through County Durham.

Required Qualifications:
You should possess a minimum of: 4 GCSEs or GCE ‘O’ levels (minimum A-C or equivalent) or CSE (Grade 1 only), including English Language or Literature, or GNVQ Intermediate level or NVQ Level 2 in a related subject and have experience of using IT applications and working with the public.

Where our roles are customer facing and you are required to speak to members of the public, the ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
