Our friendly and welcoming school is set at the heart of the local community. A recent Ofsted inspection (January 2017) judged the school to be good.
The governors are seeking to appoint two highly motivated, enthusiastic and imaginative Play Leaders to coordinate play activities across the lunchtime period. The post will commence on Monday 4th December 2017.
Applicants should have/be:
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to promote and achieve high standards of behaviour from children in a friendly but firm manner.
• Knowledge and ability to organise games and activities for children both inside and outside.
• Organise and help children to help themselves.
• Self-motivated, reliable, and hard-working.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision. Commitment to delivering a high quality service and to continuous improvement
• Ability to work as a member of a team
• Friendly and positive manner
• Enthusiastic and sensitive when working with others.
• Calm and caring attitude towards pupils.
• Well organised
• Good role model
Recent experience of working with children is desirable.
Hours of work: 12.00pm – 1.30pm Monday to Friday

This position is paid whole time with retainer adjustments applied to periods of school closure. You will not be required to work during the school closure periods however your salary in these periods will be adjusted accordingly in line with the retainer regulations as specified in the National Joint Council (NJC) Green Book agreement.
