The Governors of our fully inclusive, successful and welcoming school seek to appoint a Lunchtime Leader to commence as soon as possible.

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, enthusiastic and imaginative Lunchtime Leader. The applicant will lead our lunchtime supervisory team.

The successful candidate must be cheerful and caring, who will work successfully with our hard-working and dedicated team to provide pupils with a safe and happy lunchtime. We have OPAL (Outdoor Play and Learning) and we are promoting outdoor play in all weathers. Ranulph Fiennes quotes, “There is no bad weather, only inappropriate clothing.”

Applicants should have/be:
• Lead and manage our lunchtime supervisory team
• Able to promote and achieve high standards of behaviour from children in a firm and friendly manner
• Self-motivated, reliable and hard-working
• Enthusiastic and sensitive when working with others
• Well organised
• Promote the care and supervision of pupils during the lunch break in our play zones.
• Encourage good behaviour, manners and turn taking
• Initiate games and activities whilst maintaining supervision of a zone or monitoring all zones at lunchtime
• Assist with tidying the site at the end of each lunchtime
• Provide First Aid outdoors where appropriate

Hours of work 12.00pm – 1.30pm Monday to Friday

Essential Qualifications: General education in English.
