Required from January 2018 - or sooner if possible
Grade 2 whole time (£15,238 - £16,191) i.e.- employees who must work all year around (52 weeks per year), including during school closure periods. These employees will have a leave entitlement of 26 or 31 days (pro rata for part time) which must be taken when the schools are closed. The holiday entitlement runs from April to March, under Green Book terms i.e. not academic year).
Caretaker – Durham Community Business College, 10.30am to 6.30pm Monday to Friday

We require a talented individual, with energy and enthusiasm to join our Site Services Team. Based on our Durham Community Business College site you will work under the direction of the Site Manager within a dedicated Site Services Team to ensure standards are maintained to a very high level.
Experience of working in a caretaking role is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided

Please note that whilst this position is currently based at our Durham Community Business College site it is a Federation role and as such the successful post holder may also be required to work on our Fyndoune Community College site.
