The Governors of Blue Coat CE Aided Junior School are looking for a flexible Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant willing to work across the age range (7-11). We would be interested to hear from you if you are able to work as part of a committed and forward-thinking team.

The successful candidate must:

- Be willing to assist in providing positive play opportunities on the yard while applying an assertive but respectful approach to behaviour
- Encourage the very best hygiene and organisation in the dining hall
- Be a responsible person who has a natural drive to safeguard the care and well-being of our pupils
- Have the ability to converse at ease with pupils and colleagues.

This position is paid whole time with retainer adjustments applied to periods of school closure. You will not be required to work during the school closure periods however your salary in these periods will be adjusted accordingly in line with the retainer regulations as specified in the National Joint Council (NJC) Green Book agreement.

Please note that the Childcare Disqualifications Regulations 2009 apply to this position and therefore you are required to complete the “disqualification by association” declaration form. Should you be successful in your application for this post, your appointment can not be progressed without this declaration.

Essential Qualifications: Basic literacy and numeracy skills
