The Governing Body wishes to appoint an Administration Assistant to join our happy and successful school.

To start as soon as possible.

Hours of work: 8.30am – 12.30pm, term time only

The successful candidate will be reliable, well-organised, have good communication skills and be able to work flexibly to meet the needs of the school.

The successful candidate should possess:
• Excellent communication and inter-personal skills.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to work with initiative.
• Good computer skills (all aspects of Microsoft Office and other admin packages).
• The ability to work in a busy office environment with the skills to organise, prioritise and deal with multiple tasks whilst meeting deadlines.

The key duties and responsibilities will include:-

• Being the first point of contact for the school, welcoming visitors and parents/carers and answering telephone calls.
• Providing general clerical support and carrying out admin tasks to facilitate the smooth running of the school.
• Working in a close team to achieve the best for our children and the school community.

It is desirable that the successful candidate will have previous experience of:-

• Working within a school environment.
• Using SIMS, FMS and ParentPay systems.
