The Governors of Wheatley Hill Primary School wish to appoint an outstanding, enthusiastic and highly motivated teacher to work within our very successful school from September 2018.

The successful candidate will join our highly skilled and committed Key Stage Two team, teaching alongside the Deputy Head Teacher. Applicants should be someone with high expectations who is committed to raising standards across the curriculum to ensure our children reach their full potential. They must be able to demonstrate teaching which is consistently good or better.

The successful candidate will:
• Demonstrate an understanding of how to provide an engaging, imaginative and balanced curriculum
• Have the ability to demonstrate excellent classroom practice
• Have high expectations of classroom behaviour at all times
• Be able to become an effective member of our school team
• Demonstrate positivity and enthusiasm whilst working with children
• Have highly effective teaching skills that promote the inclusion of all children
• Have high expectations of children’s achievement and progress
• Understand the benefits of learning outside the classroom
