Norham High school is seeking to appoint a Teacher of Science who will join and strengthen the Department. We are looking to appoint a dynamic and enthusiastic teacher with high expectations, who will be passionate about their subject, able to inspire and motivate young people; they must be committed to the highest standards of teaching and learning, through lesson planning, and high quality assessment.
To be successful, you will:
• be an excellent practitioner who thinks creatively and has the potential and desire to continue to improve
• have a passion for Science along with excellent subject knowledge of Biology, Chemistry and Physics, and be able to communicate this to students
• be an effective and committed team player who relishes challenge.
This post is fixed term for one year.
Norham High School is an 11 – 16 comprehensive school serving part of the South East locality of North Shields. The school is working with Churchill Community College, a local outstanding teaching school, to accelerate progress. This partnership provides excellent CPD opportunities and leadership development.
