Longbenton is a high performing, successful 11-18 school and we are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant from September 2018. These are very exciting times for us and this is a wonderful opportunity for someone to join us at a key point in our development and be part of something innovative, challenging and rewarding. We wish to appoint a teaching assistant to join our vibrant, stable and successful Support team. If appointed, you will be joining a committed and highly regarded team of professionals who are raising standards and are determined to help improve learning outcomes for all learners. This post is for 12 months with term time only working. The successful candidate will cover lunchtime activity too at the direction of the duty team leader. We are a very inclusive school and pride ourselves in the caring nature that is part of our ethos. This is embodied by the work of the Support team and is highly valued by staff and governors.

The Support Department at Longbenton contains a wealth of experience and expertise in a number of different areas, and would be a great place to develop your pedagogy. Longbenton offers the successful candidate a whole-hearted commitment to professional learning that places individual development at the heart of its ethos.

This post is term time only over 193 days.
