A full time Housing Options Officer vacancy has arisen within North Tyneside Council’s Housing Options Team. We are looking to appoint someone who is dedicated, flexible and enthusiastic and is committed to delivering an excellent service.
The role plays an important part in the registration of applicants applying for housing. The successful applicant will carry out assessments and relevant checks on customer applications for re-housing and making allocations for vacant homes in line with the Councils Letting’s Policy.
You will have experience of delivering an excellent customer service, with strong communication skills, good negotiation skills and a proven track record of meeting targets. You will also have experience of working under pressure to tight deadlines and be performance driven to ensure the team’s performance targets are met. Housing experience is preferred.

There are two posts available, one is full time (37 hours) and one is working 29.6 hours per week.
