Shift patterns can be from 8 am until 9pm 7 days per week with two days off

A swim test will need to be completed.

To assist in the delivery of a high level of customer service, ensuring the safety and comfort of customers and helping provide excellent leisure experiences. Duties include working towards achievement of the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification and attend staff training according to the qualification, assist in the lifeguarding of the swimming pools according to the centre's normal operating procedures, administer first aid and rescues if required, help support in the day to day running of the centre's programme, setting up and taking down of equipment, understand the centre's emergency action plan and other relevant policies and procedures, assist with the cleaning and maintenance of all areas within the faciltiy, be aware of all relevant health and safety regulations as highlighted by their manager, ensure high levels of customer care are delivered at all times

Good verbal and written communication skills, basic knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets and databases, able to follow instructions and procedures with guidance, able to plan and organise daily work routines with guidance, adaptable and able to deal with changing priorities, supportive and effective team player, ability to engage with service users and members of the public, clear and logical thinking required to deal positively with problems occurring within normal work routine with guidance. Reliable and keeps good time. Ability to work flexible hours.
