Waves opened its doors in March 2009 as the new and exciting leisure facility in North Tyneside Council on Whitely Bay sea front.

The facility has a leisure pool benefiting from an aquatic play area, 3 racing slides and the highly popular wave machine. We also have a multi functional fitness suite, dance studio, soft play, two multi purpose meeting rooms and spa facilities.

We are currently seeking at least two Leisure Assistants to join the team at Waves. The successful candidate must work at least one weekend shift with working hours made up from the following shifts:

Monday 4pm – 8pm
Friday 4pm – 7.30pm
Saturday 10am – 6pm
Saturday 8am – 7.30pm
Sunday 8am – 6.30pm
Sunday 10am – 7pm

Applicants should have excellent customer care skills, use their initiative, provide an efficient and friendly service and be able to work as part of a team and on their own. They will supervise and ensure the safety of the public at all times.
