Do you have a passion for the uplands and care about their future?

We are seeking applications from confident and enthusiastic people to work closely with the farming community in Teesdale and Swaledale. You will have a depth of knowledge and experience of upland habitats and working with farmers. Successful candidates will be influential, approachable and dependable. Above all, you will have outstanding communication and negotiation skills.

We are seeking applicants for two full-time 18-month temporary contracts. One post is based in Stanhope and one post in Bainbridge. Candidates should stipulate on their application if there is a preference for one location.

Candidates must be able to meet the transport requirements of the post, with travel throughout Teesdale and Swaledale in particular.

These posts form part of the development phase of Tees-Swale: naturally connected, our collaborative project with the Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for interview in Stanhope on 6th or 7th September 2018.

The North Pennines AONB Partnership is the management body for the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and UNESCO Global Geopark.
Tees-Swale: naturally connected, is part-funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund.
