Collingwood School & Media Arts College is an all age (2 to 19) SEN school situated on the outskirts of Morpeth. The school provides places for pupils with an increasingly complex profile of additional needs with a significant number of students having Autistic Spectrum Disorders. The school offers a specialised learning environment to support the additional requirements of our students. We work very closely with health professionals and other outside agencies holding regular clinics in school to support both the students and their parent/carers. We have other regular professionals visiting the school such as musicians, artists and sporting coaches. The school is very popular, with a high demand for places, and students travel to Collingwood from all over Northumberland.
We are very proud of our achievements at Collingwood and the reputation we have gained for the high standard of education we provide. We are committed to continuing to improve the work we do and would welcome applications from people who will share this vision with us.
Please note that a minimum of Grade C or above in both English and Maths is required for this position.
