We are looking for an experienced and motivated Catering Manager to join our dedicated catering team. You will be responsible for delivering high quality, nutritious, school meals and a first class service for our pupils and staff.

The successful applicant will understand how to run a kitchen, within the workplace, to the highest standards, whilst operating within budget.

You will manage all aspects of the day to day operations of the School Catering Service using high standards of food hygiene / handling and safe working practices.

In addition, we are looking for an individual who will lead the development of a progressively improving Catering Service within our school and ensure that the catering unit meets all health and safety regulations.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 1.30pm

This position is paid whole time with retainer adjustments applied to periods of school closure. You will not be required to work during the school closure periods however your salary in these periods will be adjusted accordingly in line with the retainer regulations as specified in the National Joint Council (NJC) Green Book agreement.

Where our roles are customer facing and you are required to speak to members of the public, the ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
