Woodlawn School is a specialist setting for children and young people from 2-19 years with complex medical, physical and learning needs.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced part-time receptionist who will be the initial point of contact, greeting callers/visitors, handling telephone calls and dealing with emails in what is a busy and vibrant school.

The successful candidate will be dealing with queries from parents and visitors and ensuring visitors adhere to the schools safeguarding arrangements. There will be clerical tasks of a general nature and these will include maintaining manual and computerised records. The receptionist will co-ordinate the distribution of mail/deliveries and undertake routine administration tasks, for example placing orders for goods/services and monitoring pupil attendance.

This is a fixed term contract covering a maternity leave on a term time (190 day) basis.

Work pattern is :
8.00am – 4.00pm Monday
8.00am – 1.00pm Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday

8.00am – 4.00pm Friday
There may be the possibility of additional flexible hours e.g. school events.
