Belmont Cheveley Park Primary School is looking for a Teaching Assistant to support two pre-school age boys in achieving the best possible outcomes. Both children have support plans in place; one child has been diagnosed with autism and receives 12 hrs of one-to-one support and one child has been referred to ASD and receives 8 hrs per week one-to-one support. As such we are looking for the right person to support their learning needs.

Wednesday (8.45 – 12.15)
Thursday (8.45 -3.45)
Friday (8.45 – 12.15)

Do you…
• Understand that every child is special and unique, and will go the extra mile to ensure that they get the best deal possible?
• Have high expectations of yourself, and of the children in your care?
• Have initiative, being able to think on your feet and react to events in order to maximise learning?
• Want to work as part of an outstanding Early Years team (OFSTED Sept 2014)
• Enjoy the challenge of working one to one with children – remaining focussed and committed to their needs at all times?

If that sounds like you, we want to hear from you! You will be expected to work hard, but in return Cheveley Park can promise motivated and well behaved children, supportive and dedicated staff, an active Governing Body and a great learning environment. You will be well supported by staff at all levels.

Essential Qualifications: See Person Specification.
Pay Scale: Grade 3
Start Date: 29th October 2018

Contract: 20 hours – term time only plus two additional weeks. This contract is until July 2019, but will be linked to the individual children and therefore should they leave us prior to July 2019 this position may end sooner.
