The Governing Body of Backworth Park Primary School are looking to appoint a Caretaker who is experienced in site management activities, to work in our school community.
You should have experience of carrying out maintenance tasks and dealing with health and safety issues, with a proven ability to manage your own workload, using initiative and skills appropriately. The role will involve supporting teachers by building and making items for children to use in play.
Backworth Park Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and we expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. As such an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) disclosure will be sought along with other relevant employment checks deemed appropriate.
This post is fixed term up to 31/3/2019 with a view to being made permanent.
