The Governors wish to appoint an enthusiastic, dynamic Support Assistant (SA) with experience of working successfully and cooperatively as part of a team within a school for children and young people with one or more of the following: High medical needs, PMLD, SLD, ASC, challenging behaviour. He/she should have a clear understanding of the requirements for the care, health and welfare of children and young people.

Required from January 2019
Temporary until July 2019

This is a part-time role working 32.5 hours per week. Start time 9.00am, finish time 4.00pm. The post is not open to job share.

As the post is term-time only i.e.- employees who work and are only paid for when the school is open for attendance by pupil e.g. typically 38 weeks per year. They will be paid 38 working weeks and the employee’s individual annual leave entitlement (26 days for under 5 years’, 31 days for over 5 years) and bank holidays, however salary is paid over 12 months in equal payments.
