First Class Supply are working with a small first school in the North of Northumberland to appoint a classroom assistant to assist in their Nursery every Friday. The position will commence after the October Half Term break and will be to cover a maternity leave.

The headteacher at this school has worked closely with her team and school improvement partners to take important steps to improve the quality of teaching. Effective planning, teaching and assessment enable pupils to make good progress in the early years.

Successful applicants will:

Have experience of working within both school and nursery settings
Be pro-active, enthusiastic, energetic and reliable
Have the ability to motivate and engage children
Be able to work independently using your initiative
Have a minimum of 6 months recent experience within a UK setting
Hold a full and relevant level 3 or equivalent qualification in a relevant child care discipline.
