Post Title: School Swimming Teacher
37 hours per week, term-time only.

Salary: £18,870 to £21,074 pro rata, term-time only

We are looking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and committed Swimming Teacher to be part of a dynamic team, delivering high quality Primary School swimming lessons across County Durham.

The successful applicant will be expected to make a significant contribution to the development of our School Swimming programme. You will be responsible for the delivery of Primary School Swimming Lessons to a wide variety of ability groups across various school swimming pools across County Durham.

You must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and have a good knowledge of swimming skills, strokes and swimming within the National Curriculum, along with a desire and passion to raise standards in pupil progress and achievement using a fun an engaging approach, which meets the needs of all pupils.

Required qualifications: RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification OR Rescue Test for Swimming Teacher and Coaches Qualification alongside Swim England Level 2 Teachers (Aquatics).
