A Vacancy has arisen for a care supervisor at Hatfield Chase a supported Living Service for people with learning disabilities
You will be required to manage staff and co-ordinate the work of the staff team to support the provision to people with a learning disability and associated physical health issues.
You will undertake individual supervision and performance appraisal sessions with nominated staff providing clear guidance to achieve service objectives and quality standards in the undertaking of person-centered reviews, care plans and risk assessments.
As a member of the management team you will contribute to the planning and development of the service.
You will work with the staff team to develop effective care practice and ensure continuity in service delivery in accordance with service standards.
You will act as a link worker liaising with the individual, their carers and other professionals to develop implement and monitor the effectiveness of care plans to support the needs of those who use the service.
You will administer medication in accordance with medical advice and service procedures observing best practice.
You should be aware of and comply with relevant legislation ie CQC National Standards and Codes of Conduct.
You must have a good general education demonstrating literacy and numeracy and have an NVQ Level 3 in Care or equivalent qualification.
The service requires staff to be flexible and reliable as working a shifts including weekends is a requirement of the post
This is a fixed term appointment to cover a maternity leave.
