A temporary and permanent vacancy exists for a qualified social worker to join the Locality teams in North Tyneside. These are in the Community Wellbeing Team for the North West of the borough and at the Council’s Front Door Gateway Team.
The teams work to an asset based approach which encourages and supports people to find their own solutions to difficulties but when necessary commissions services to promote their independence and choice.
1 x permanent vacancy, 37 hours per week.
1 x fixed term vacancy for 12 months, 27 hours per week, secondment opportunity.
We will offer:
Grade 8 - A competitive starting salary of £26,470 pa
Grade 9 - A competitive salary up to £34,106 pa (dependent on grade and experience)
