Required as soon as possible. We are seeking an experienced caretaker to manage the security, safety and cleanliness of our unique school building in addition to joining our friendly team.
The successful candidate must have a proactive attitude to work and be able to prioritise tasks, completing them to a high standard. They will have the key role of managing the security, safety and cleanliness of our unique school building and line managing a small group of experienced cleaners. They must have basic Mathematics and English skills. The ability to demonstrate maintenance and DIY skills is also required. Previous caretaking or supervisory experience in a comparable environment would be desirable.
Set hours are 7.00 – 9.15, 11.15 – 1.15, 2.45 – 5.30 [term time] and 7.00 – 2.20 [holidays].
Please note that the successful candidate will be employed by the governing body, not Northumberland County Council.
