Teaching Assistant Level 3 KS1/FS, permanent, term time only over 193 days, 37 hours per week.

Due to a valued member of our team leaving to set up their own business, the governors of this happy, caring and inclusive school are seeking to appoint an outstanding Teaching Assistant; who is experienced, enthusiastic and caring and qualified to at least Level 2 with a willingness to continue their training. This will be to provide support to all of our pupils, including those who need particular help to overcome barriers to learning.

Experience of working within the Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1 is essential, along with a clear understanding of the expectations across these stages. Experience of assessment procedures within Early Years and Key Stage 1 is an advantage. You must have a commitment to raising standards in our school and have a very clear knowledge and understanding of what excellent teaching and learning looks like within your environment.

You will have a high expectation of children’s work and behaviour and have a commitment to partnership working between home, school and the wider community. You must have the care and dedication to ensure that every child reaches their full potential. Applicants should have a positive outlook and be able to work effectively within a team.

You will be required to carry out all duties as required within a Level 3 job description.
