Durham County Council is supporting countywide growth through a diverse range of economic regeneration projects. An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Regeneration Policy Officer to work in the Regeneration and Local Services directorate to develop responses to consultations, disseminate and analyse policies and strategies, and communicate policy options.
The post holder will support the regeneration policy function of the Strategy and Project Development team and support the Regeneration Policy Team Leader. The role involves developing, interpreting, reviewing and disseminating economic regeneration policy information to key staff and elected members of Durham County Council and other local, regional and national partners.
Applicants must hold a degree, or equivalent, in a relevant discipline and preferably a relevant postgraduate degree.
