The Governors seek to appoint an enthusiastic and caring Positive Futures Worker to work with pupils and families to overcome barriers to learning and to provide appropriate pastoral support to meet individual needs. This is a new role for the school so will require some work on developing appropriate systems and arrangements in and out of classrooms.

The successful candidate will work with teachers to support teaching and learning, providing specialist support to the teacher and pastoral staff in an aspect of the curriculum, age range or additional needs whilst working seamlessly with parents to provide social, emotional and educational support.

The successful candidates must be appropriately qualified with at least a level 3 qualification in a related subject with substantial related experience, Training and knowledge of safeguarding policies and GCSE (A*- C) in Maths to English or equivalent.
