Post title: Sessional Lecturer x 7 posts - casual

Salary: £25,125 Associate Teacher Point 5 (pro-rata to hours worked)

Job Location: Various locations across Durham County.

The Adult Learning and Skills Service are looking to recruit Sessional Lecturers with significant teaching experience within the post 16 and 19+ adult learning sector who can offer one or more of the following subjects

Maths
English
ESOL
Distance Learning
Health & Social Care
Supported Teaching and Learning
Apprenticeship Delivery

Successful candidates will work closely with Service Programme Leads and be responsible for the planning and development of high quality courses and carrying out teaching and learning activities across the County. This will include preparation of individual learning plans, schemes of work, lesson plans and associated learning resources.

Required qualifications:
• Level 4 teaching qualification
• L3 Subject specific qualification in the field to be taught
• Level 2 qualifications in Maths & English
• Current Assessor Award

The successful applicant for this post will be required to apply for a Disclosure & Barring Service Enhanced Disclosure.
