Wheatley Hill Community Primary is a caring, inclusive school at the heart of the local community.

The Governors of the school are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, enthusiastic and reliable caretaker to join our staff team.

Responsible to the Headteacher / School Business Manager the successful applicant will have responsibility for the cleanliness, maintenance and security of the school premises and site. They will have responsibility for the cleaning of a designated area of the school and also ensure that the work of other cleaning staff is completed to the required standards.

Visits to the school are warmly welcomed. Application forms are available from and returnable to the school.

Closing date for receipt of applications is Friday 8th March 2019 at 1pm. Interviews: To be confirmed.

This is a permanent position, subject to a satisfactory probationary period.

Please note that this position is whole time, which means that you will be in attendance at work all year round (52 weeks a year) and will have an annual leave entitlement (26 days if you have less than 5 years’ continuous local government service, 31 days if you have in excess of 5 years’ continuous local government service; pro rata for part time).
