Casual Bikeability Cycling Instructors

The County Council is seeking suitable experienced and skilled person to deliver 1,2 and 3 the Bikeability Cycle Training scheme in schools across Durham and Hartlepool Council Areas.

The main functions of the role is to work closely with the Senior Instructors and the Bikeability Officer to deliver high quality practical training within the school premises and in the trafficked road environment.

The post holder will also provide written feedback to trainees and basic reports to the Senior Instructors.

The successful applicant will work in various areas of County Durham and Hartlepool using their home as a base.

Required Qualifications
A good basic general education to GCSE level or equivalent including English
A relevant Bikeability Instructor qualification is desirable

Due to the requirement to drive a County Council vehicle in this role, appointment will be subject to the production of a valid driving licence for the required category of vehicle and the satisfactory completion of an in-house Driver Induction Assessment.
