Post title: Cover Music Teacher - casual
Salary: £21,210 - £25,594 (teachers appointed to the pool will be a paid an hourly rate based on Teachers Pay Range U3 or MPS 2, depending on qualifications).
Job Location: the role involves travel across County Durham and Darlington
Durham Music Service requires a pool of temporary instrumental staff, to be used to cover staff absence etc. Durham Music Service is the lead partner in the Music Education Hub for County Durham and Darlington.
Applications will be particularly welcomed from teachers able to deliver tuition in:
Piano/keyboard, Singing/Choir direction, music for Early Years, whole class curriculum music, instrumental lessons for strings, brass, woodwind, guitar/ukulele or percussion. Successful applicants may be involved in delivering both whole class ‘First Access’ programmes and small group tuition.
Required qualifications: Grade 8 music performance qualification, Level 4 qualification in relation to Early Years teaching, or equivalent.
