The governors of this outstanding school seek to appoint an Assistant Headteacher.

The post holder will initially teach in KS2 and have responsibility for the quality of education in Y4 to Y6. In addition to this, our Assistant Headteacher must have an excellent understanding of the curriculum and pedagogy in the Early Years and Key Stage 1, so that they can effectively support leadership and management across the whole school.

We are looking for a high quality classroom practitioner, who can motivate and inspire our ambitious and forward thinking staff. They should be a resilient, dynamic and aspirant leader.

As a National Support School, we would expect the successful candidate to have a good understanding of research based teaching strategies and the changing educational landscape.
