Temporary / Full Time / Term Time only + 2 weeks / 37 hours per week

We are looking for someone with a passion and commitment to working with children to join our school as a temporary Teaching Assistant. Required from September 2019 until 31 August 2020, further to review.

The successful candidate will be reliable, well-organised, have good communication skills and be able to work flexibly, to meet the needs of the school to raise standards.

They must:
• have experience of acting as key person in a Primary School setting
• be able to support the work of other Teaching assistants
• be an outstanding, creative, enthusiastic practitioner, who will support the excellent work developed throughout the school
• have the skills experience and knowledge to work with children and demonstrate high standards of classroom practice, to promote and develop their learning
• have a good understanding of current educational thinking and initiatives
• be a caring and understanding person, who enjoys working with children and is committed to supporting high standards and enjoyment for learning
• have the ability to work in a close team to achieve the best for our children and the school community
• be able to work flexibly and adapt to the needs of the school

The successful candidate will have to meet the requirements of the person specification, in order to be offered the post and will be subject to an enhanced DBS check. Bluebell Meadow Primary School is committed to the safety and protection of its children.

Applicants should have the appropriate qualifications –:
NNEB, NVQ 3 or CACHE level 3 or BTEC Level 3 or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline
5 GCSE’s (including Maths and English) grades A-C
Valid first aid certificate or willingness to undergo training for this qualification
