An opportunity has arisen for a Durham Woodland Revival Community Engagement Officer until November 2023.

This 4-year programme is worth over £820,000 in total.
This post will work with existing woodland groups, local people and communities within the Durham Woodland Revival (DWR) project area to improve their connection to trees and woods and inspire more people to become involved in looking after their local woods. The Community Engagement Officer will develop and support a network of volunteers and woodland community groups to work independently to help bring neglected woods back into good management, delivering multiple benefits for people and wildlife.
