Deputy Head Teacher required for Summer Term 2020 or earlier.

Our Nursery School, rated by Ofsted as “Outstanding” in 6 consecutive inspections; is looking for an exceptional Early Years teacher to fill this permanent role. The Governors are seeking to appoint a qualified and experienced Early Years teacher, who is looking for an opportunity to develop their teaching skills, leadership and management. This is a full-time teaching post, and you will be expected to act in place of the Headteacher in her absence.

Salary: Group 1, LPR L1 £41,065 - L5 £45,319

N.O.R. 83 (current)

The successful candidate will have:

• A working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage
• Experience of EYFS curriculum management – planning, delivery and assessment
• A knowledge of Special Educational Needs requirements
• The ability to work as part of a team
• The desire to take an active part in the life of the nursery school
• An enjoyment in working with children and families
• An enthusiasm for new concepts and approaches
• Commitment, flair, imagination and reliability.
• An understanding of high-quality experiences for 2 year olds
