We are looking for a suitably experienced individual to work with our Performing Arts team as the Technician.
The successful applicant will work closely with the teaching staff to provide technical support for lessons and school performances. The position requires a good knowledge of stage lighting, set, sound and other technical resources as well as the ability to work across a range of subjects including drama, music, art and photography.
There will be additional hours required after school to support school productions and events.
This is an excellent opportunity to join Belmont Community School as we build upon our Ofsted “Good” rating. We will offer you a supportive network of colleagues and access to training and CPD as required.
As our name implies, the school lies at the heart of its community. Belmont is a leafy suburb on the outskirts of Durham City. As a result of high expectations, enthusiastic teaching and very positive relationships, students enjoy school and want to do well.
