Building Maintenance / Caretaking
County Hall, Durham and Green Lane, Spennymoor
Regeneration, Economy and Growth
Three permanent posts are available as follows:
x1 full-time at 37 h.p.w. and x1 part-time at 15 h.p.w. both at County Hall, Durham - the work pattern is subject to a rota which includes a nightshift and a Saturday.
x1 full-time post at 37 h.p.w. at Green Lane, Spennymoor - working an alternating shift pattern Monday to Friday.
We seek appropriately qualified, experienced and motivated individuals, to assist in the operational management of designated Durham County Council buildings ensuring they are safe, compliant and maintained to the agreed standards.
You will support the Assistant Facilities Officers and the Facilities Officers by assisting in the provision of an efficient and effective Facilities Management Service.
NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in a relevant discipline
Due to the requirement to drive a County Council vehicle in these roles, appointment will be subject to the production of a valid driving licence for the required category of vehicle and the satisfactory completion of an in-house Driver Induction Assessment.
