We are looking for a talented and suitably qualified professional to join our team in supporting the school to achieve its strategic plan. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and hardworking, with proven skills and experience in financial management and a strong commitment to teamwork. You will have a proven ability to manage a diverse range of school support services, including financial management, administration, catering, site and facilities, lettings and health and safety.

The successful candidate will:
• hold a degree or School Business Manager qualification
• have sound financial knowledge and understanding
• have successful management experience
•have exceptional organisational skills

Wellfield was judged ‘Good’ by Ofsted in June 2018.

As part of BSF the school has undergone an £8.5 million refurbishment so facilities are state of the art. The school is also to benefit from the development of a floodlit FA standard 3G football pitch. Situated only 8 miles to the east of Durham City the school is well located for access to the A19 and A1(M). It is also within comfortable driving distance of affordable housing and areas of outstanding natural beauty.

Where our roles are customer facing and you are required to speak to members of the public, the ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
