An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Payroll and Employee Service Officer within Payroll and Employee Services. This post is temporary to cover a period of maternity leave until approximately 31st December 2021 or until the return of the substantive post holder from maternity leave, whichever is sooner.

A key element of this role will be to contribute to ResourceLink and MyView Systems Development, Workforce Information and supporting wider PES Team members in relation to all aspects of Payroll Provision
including: -

• Producing workforce information and regular management reports on HR and Payroll activities using MS Office especially Excel
• Working with numbers and data and ability to analyse data
• Acting as a key contact for HR systems and applications, e.g ResourceLink, MyView, MS SharePoint
• Supporting new system developments and testing new upgrades
• Providing advice, training and support for managers and other team members as required on the use of Resourcelink, MyView and other key applications
• Working with payroll to ensure that all Payroll and HR transactional processes are completed to the highest possible standard.
To be considered for this role candidates should have

• Project Management skills
• Ability to work with confidential information
• Ability to undertake work of a variety of advanced tasks.

Candidates will need to be qualified CIPD Level 5 or CIPP Foundation Degree in Payroll Management (Level 5).
