A vacancy has arisen within Occupational Health for a temporary Health Screening Nurse Advisor for approximately one year from start date in post.

The post holder will undertake a clinical role in delivering a range of health assessment and screening services to a wide range of employment groups.

You will assist as part of a small clinical team in the delivery a range of health surveillance programs to a wide range of employees; including Industrial Noise, Hand Arm Vibration Syndrome assessments and skin monitoring.

In addition to statutory services such as health surveillance, immunisations, workplace assessments and reasonable adjustments you will provide COVID related support, guidance and clinical interventions.

The post holder will carry out a range of health screening assessments and medical screening assessments in accordance with Occupational Health Service Protocols and also act as a source of advice.

The successful candidate will deliver occupational immunisation programmes in accordance with Occupational Health Service Protocols together with providing advice in cases of reported inoculation injuries in accordance with Occupational Health Service Protocols.

The post holder will ensure that comprehensive, confidential clinical records and recall data records are maintained in accordance with external professional and internal standards.

Candidates should be a Registered Nurse/Registered General Nurse (Adult) and have experience of working within a multi-disciplinary environment.
