A Customer Relationship Manager post has been created to support the development of the Council's Service Level Agreement (SLA) business. This is a new and exciting post which will provide opportunity and challenge. The post holder should be motivated, positive and proactive in their work which will support the future direction of the councils commercial SLA offer.

The post holder will support the management of the council’s Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with schools, academies and other customers across the region.

In conjunction with the councils relevant SLA manager, the post holder will review SLA performance and support the delivery of internal improvement and development projects.

In this role, the post holder will develop relationships with existing customers and potential new customers to promote the council’s SLAs and identify new business development opportunities. The post holder will liaise with the council’s internal providers of SLAs to respond to opportunities and prepare tender submissions.

The post holder will also liaise with the councils Communications and Marketing Teams to promote council SLAs via existing and newly identified marketing channels.

Candidates should be educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant discipline. The candidate should also be motivated and have a positive, proactive mindset. Candidates should also have experience of working within a customer relationship management role and have experience of delivery of service improvement and marketing projects.
