A vacancy has arisen within Legal and Democratic Services in Electoral Services team for a temporary Electoral Service Visiting Officer until approximately 30th June 2021.

The post holder will provide clerical support to the electoral services team, assist with the updating of the Register of Electors during annual canvass and during elections and also promote electoral registration and the voting process.

The post holder will respond to customer enquiries in respect of the democratic process to assist with preparations for elections and also carry out visits to properties in the Council area which have not responded to requests for information from Electoral Services.

Candidates should have 4 CSE's graded A-C or equivalent and have experience of dealing with members of the public.
