The Governors at Butterknowle Primary School are seeking to appoint an inspirational and outstanding teacher to join our hardworking team. The successful candidate will become part of a committed team who have high expectations and believe in respect and success for all. Our children need a teacher who will take an interest in them as individuals and who will ensure that they make excellent progress by making learning exciting, memorable and fun.

We are looking for an excellent KS2 classroom practitioner who is able to demonstrate the following:

• Has high expectations of pupils and a commitment to raising standards
• Promotes excellence, enjoyment and fun in learning
• Has a positive attitude and a sense of humour
• Has experience of working across KS2

Where our roles are customer facing and you are required to speak to members of the public, the ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
