Temporary until 31st March 2022

You will be responsible for supervising a customer focused Support Services team and you will work closely with the Heads of Service and Technical Staff to ensure that the team are providing a quality back office support service.

Providing support across operational teams within DCC, such as Fleet, Highways, Refuse and Recycling and Neighbourhood Protection

In addition, you will be responsible for promoting electronic data interchange/ filing where possible, along with challenging and streamlining existing systems in accordance with lean systems thinking to remove unnecessary processes.

A flexible approach is required at all times and you must have experience in leading and supervising an administrative team, in motivating staff to promote a positive culture and in managing major change effectively.

Advanced practical knowledge and understanding of local government administration processes is also essential.

Required Qualifications:
NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent in a relevant subject
